itri
Kyoto-based DJ iiiiju, known for crafting immersive sonic experiences across genres, presents a mix inspired by his travels.
Drawing from my journey to Morocco, where I witnessed an endless starry sky over the Sahara Desert, I curated a selection of cosmic ambient and experimental sounds.
The title “itri” comes from the Berber script used in North Africa, including Morocco, to represent the word “star.“
Even tracks that weren’t inherently cosmic took on a celestial atmosphere through key transitions and blending—a personal highlight of this mix.
Hope you’ll find your own memories and imagery reflected in the journey.
