Nu-doh Bushi
Nu-doh, owner of BAR MOHICAN in Yonabaru, Okinawa, and a member of Churashima Navigator, presents a mix deeply rooted in the Okinawan concept of “Bushi (節)“.
This mix weaves together Okinawa’s perspective on the world and the world’s view of Okinawa, combining elements of prayer, dance, festivity, and spirituality. Inspired by the melodic phrasing often found in enka and traditional Okinawan folk music (minyo), the mix reflects these sentiments in a cohesive form.
It also serves as a personal reflection, questioning, “How have I lived until now, and how will I continue to live moving forward?”
